New demo for Tunic out next week, as part of Summer Game Fest. Apparently 40 games will be offered up on demo for a week starting 15 July. Sable will also have a demo. I’m stoked for both games.

The Tunic dev posted a brand new animation from the game on his Twitter account yesterday, and I'm salivating. It's just a giant gate opening, but it looks phenomenal. Can I admit something? Tunic is one of the top five reasons I bought an Xbox. I'm dying to play this game.

It has an i7 processor (Ivy Bridge), but very basic integrated graphics card (Intel HD 4000). So it struggled on Tunic. But now I have an Xbox, something I didn't even conceive of early last year, and I am set. Bring it on baby, I can't wait to play Tunic!

There’s a playable demo of Tunic available on Steam and at Indie Arena Online.
So far it’s just as cute as I expected, but it plays even better. It’s really quite wonderful, even if it represents an earlier stage of the game. I continue to be really excited for this.

Looking at treehouse footage of Link's Awakening, I can't help but think about Tunic. I was hoping for some Tunic footage or news around now this year but apparently it's all still in progress but under wraps. Anyway, for anyone curious, here is footage from E3 last year:

P.S. I love this track from the game. It gives me serious Chrono Trigger vibes, and I love that the people working on Tunic are likely fans of some of my favourite games of all time.
