How Long Is Access Denied: Escape?
Fun challenging escape room game
Access Denied: Escape is a game by Stately Snail, who also did the recently released “Is This Game Trying to Kill Me?”, which is quite excellent. I wanted to see what else the dev has made, and this is their highest rated game from before. It is quite fun, despite not being as original and creative as the latest entry.
It is somewhere between a strict level-based puzzle game, while also having some meta narrative and overarching puzzles that break the “video gameness” of it. The puzzles are tough but very satisfying to solve; and it just has the same signature art style and polish that I liked in the recent game.
The aesthetic is kinda just sci-fi? Not as unique as Is This Game Trying to Kill Me. But the skeleton and gameplay are great, so I’d recommend if you like puzzle / escape room type games,
