Omega striker is a bouncer game where you and your team of 3 players in total must score goal (like in football) to your enemy team to win the game. To make game even more fun, every player has it's own abilities that allow strike the core (ball) harder and kick player out of playground.

Game balances between being truly competitive game and really funny game where every goal is followed by shouting the Queens "We are the champions" song to your friends in discord (even though you loose with 4:1 score). Since i am competitive person, sometimes i found this game too frustrating due to some reasons that will be covered later, but still i can't deny that game is really funny when you play with your friends.

Players divide into 2 roles: goalie and forward. Actually there is a third role "flex" that means you does not care which role you wont to play. So, goalie must defend gates so enemy team does not get a score and forwards must attack enemy gates.

Game has "awakenings" - items that improve attributes or skills of your person. Players choose awakening that randomly occurs every set of game what makes game more situational. Also there is awakenings specific for goalies and forwards that are chosen at the start of match. To make goalies play their role truthfully, their awakenings are disabled on the enemy half of field.

At this moment game has 21 persons that you can play. Each person has different skills and stats. For example, person X has abilities that primary aimed to make damage to other players, so game for him become more like boxing instead of football =). But characters different not only by their skills, each of them has it's own personality, while it's not so important for competitive game, but it give some charm while playing them.

One time my friend sad that this game is a huge fan service... and i can't deny that :D. This games have so many funny stickers that might be used during game for communicating, so it feels like a crime for allowing to take only 5 of them!

Or you can just look at one of playable characters (estelle) and think twice if stickers is not enough for you...

Good thing that she does not have any cosmetic like swimsuite or nurse suite so r34 does not explode on this game..... or is she?

Community in this game the kindest I've ever seen (for the context, i played dota 2 and i know what i say when i speak kind). When i only started to play this game, everyone was just destroying my team in matchmaking, but sometimes one player of the enemy team become our goalie and we played 4 vs 2 games. And this game does not even have in game chat!

The sad thing - this game is slowly dying, since new players does not come to game. This situation affects competitive games when game cannot find players of your rank and you frequently play against more professional players than you. That the part of frustration i mentioned before.

Even developers decided to stop creating new content (but they really tried, 2023 summer season even included visual novel in game). But still they make balance fixes and run servers while there is still player in game.

But still, this is a very nice game and i definitely recommend you to play this game while it's alive, so grab your mouse and keyboard and strike that core as hard as you can, dear player!
