Just played a small bit of the Switch demo, and wow I'm sold on it already. This game is totally my jam.
Feels like Monolith x Celeste x Hyper Light Drifter x Flinthook x Gato Roboto (for its cronchy sound design & game-feel).

The game was described as a roguelite blend of Celeste and Dead Cells so, as a big Celeste fan, I had to try it. Besides it's on gamepass so why not?

It's on early access and it looks promising, but I wouldn't recommend it on this state unless you're a big fan of the genre. Still, the combat and movement is fluid, the lack of invincibility while dashing means you have to be very careful about your movement (like in Celeste), the challenge is fair, some of the in-the-run power ups are very cool (for example, you make more damage the more enemies you kill without touching the floor) but a lot of them are a bit bland, the out-of-the-run progression feels impactful but not absolutely game-breaking. However, everything lacks variety and more depth. I'm sure with some more time and probably out of early access it's going to be a fantastic game. Should definitely keep an eye on it but I would stay playing Hades for now.
