Addictive minimalistic roguelike.

Interesting gameplay mechanic. Simple, yet there's depth to it.

I got it for free and expected to be done with it in 20 minutes, like the other reviewer here did. But ended up playing for 2 hours and feel like I could play this more.

It seems bit RNG heavy, but I still enjoy trying different item combinations to achieve strong synergy.
And each time you lose, they add some more items to the random item pool to keep you interested.

Just finished RingOfPain after 2 months of continuous trying. It felt amazing. Rewarding. One of the best games I have played. The synergy between the items is to be appreciated. So many different ways you can tackle the game.

The story sucked though. Wanted more closure when I beat Owl and the darkness. The levels were very nice. The artwork and music well constructed. What am I saying, I don't care about such things.

Was it fun? It fkn was. Should you play it?! If you like card games, yes. If you played Slay The Spire, yes. If you're a cry baby and you quit fast, NO. RUN AWAY FROM THIS GAME.

I was interested in this because it's described as a card game. It's not. It just shows all game elements as cards, they're never used as cards (e.g. shuffled).

This is a very very simple game. You are presented with two options. Options include enemies, items and doors. You can fight enemies or try to bypass using stealth. You can bypass other options freely, so you can bypass a potion to fight an enemy and return to drink it (options rotate as if on a ring).

That's the entire game. There's no character creation or unlocks or anything. Just a bunch of random stuff. You can sort of try to combine items in a way that makes sense but it's all very random. Even games like Shadowhand and Hand of Fate are vastly superior.
