It is amazing how similar this is to Prince of Persia. I like the plot line in Tales of Kenzaru Zau game a lot better but the level of polish and the combat is so much more satisfying in Prince of Persia.

This might actually defy my usual dislike of 2.5D platformers, but the game is pretty. The demo is unfortunately not well optimized because things such as waterfalls in the background tank my framerate on Steam Deck. It’s also sadly another 2D platformer that only allows analogue stick movement. I understand why, because it’s trying to emulate ranged attacks of more …

This might actually defy my usual dislike of 2.5D platformers, but the game is pretty. The demo is unfortunately not well optimized because things such as waterfalls in the background tank my framerate on Steam Deck. It’s also sadly another 2D platformer that only allows analogue stick movement. I understand why, because it’s trying to emulate ranged attacks of more recent Metroid games that have an aim function for projectile fire. All the same, I really don’t enjoy analogue stick limited controls for 2D platformers.
