Well... It's Quake
Intro
If you play this right now you get all of the "Champions" for free so i decided to give this a go.
Pro
- Abilities add a nice twist.
- It's still Quake.
Con
- Not a lot of players.
- F2P unlock bullshit.
- It's still Quake.
Conclusion
Quake is still a really solid game. I thought i wouldn't care for it at all but i felt the rush almost right away. Each hero has its own stats and activated ability allowing for some diversity. But you have to wade through nonsense about levelling and lootboxes to play a game that is otherwise virtually identical to Quake 3 Arena. Meh.

Los diversos campeones se encuentran +/- bien balanceados y son adquiribles incluso como jugador F2P la jugabilidad es casi idéntica al Quake clásico pero la falta de jugadores hace que iniciar partidas sea difícil y que estas sean pobremente balanceadas. El juego premia notoriamente la habilidad para apuntar y los reflejos rápidos.
Con mucho potencial de mejora puede ser un gran juego para un nicho de jugadores.
I want to play more of this game, but the fact that custom matches are locked behind a paywall is disencouraging. If you only want to play some casual rounds with friends, just get Q3 Arena.
Played about 5 hours but I'll probably reinstall at some point.
Amo Quake y con esta entrega tengo mis reparos, la conexión (pin) para Colombia es un asco, el nivel de los jugadores es alto lo cual es un problema por le matchmaking y por ultimo el concepto de campeones no me termina de cuadrar. De resto, su velocidad y acción frenética se mantiene.
