MiSide is an adventure game with horror elements, telling the story of a simple guy who, for mystical reasons, finds himself in a mobile simulation. Appearing in the house he has just observed on his smartphone screen, the hero becomes confused. The stunned guy follows the instructions of a certain device he discovered in the bedroom. A few moments later, he is greeted by a pretty girl, whose image is also familiar to the young man from this mobile game.

Very good and lovable, however I feel like it had potential to be a lot deeper. It had it's moments where it subtly explored the MC's need for a dating game like this, but it's mostly just a horror game. Solid 4.5/5

Praying for you🕯️O Great Mita💝

MiSide is a Russian indie game that is deceptively cute while the horror elements hide beneath its surface. Many people compare this game to Doki Doki Literature Club yet these two titles are very distinct from one another due to their gameplay differences.

What I liked most about the game was its art style and its creative yet consistent character designs. The story itself isn't bad but I wasn't super invested in it either. The gameplay manages to stay fresh though I found it really frustrating that some of the minigames only allow you one shot to get their achievement. Thankfully after completing the game, chapter select is unlocked so this alleviates some of the burden of trying to 100% it.

I liked the replayability aspects such as the costume unlockables and another mode that becomes available after you beat the game. I may go back and try to unlock more of the achievements. There have also been Christmas and V-Day events though since the game is less than a year old, I'm not sure those events will return.

I'd recommend this game for those looking for a horror experience that is fairly easy wrapped in anime packaging.

DDLC-esque with more 4th wall breaks. Kinda predictable ending, but so many little interestign things all scattered in the game. Loved it!

It's fine, nothing too special but still nice. The animations in this game are insane though, I love the models too & the soundtrack is quiteee nice too. I'd give it a 3/5 maybe? maybe a 2.5/5 idk aha

Nice experience. Entertaining, with some horror elements already seen somewhere else, but all summed up comes up a nice 3/4hrs journey with plenty of achievements and collectibles. Maybe tries to be too much of a doki-doki literature club alike, but it's got its own identity
