4/5

Very enjoyable fire emblem like game. Having active abilities for each character was a nice addition. The area of effect abilities in particular were satisfying to use without feeling too overpowered. Being able to upgrade abilities was a nice added layer of customization.

The story was decent, on par or a bit better than the "average" fire emblem game in my opinion.

I do wish there was some more enemy variety (instead of just reskinned versions of the same enemies throughout for the most part).

Was really rooting for this one, it's a Fire Emblem clone made by a small team that's clearly passionate about the series. But its characters and world are utterly generic, and the few interesting mechanical ideas it brings to the table are undermined by some truly strange balance decisions. Way too much focus on single-unit juggernauting for my taste, as well, though I did love that the unassuming healer character was by far the deadliest threat in the game.
