Good enough for fun

For a free-to-play game, it's pretty neat. You can enjoy matches against the AI and PVP matches. Of course, the first few weeks or months can be rough playing PVP matches since your team roster won't be as good as the older players'. However, the frequent events and rewards can get a very good team in a short while. I've played for a few months and managed to come up with collective force of over 3000 and a competitive team that can match up to most players in a PVP match. It seems that Konami will be letting go of the contract days that limited your usage and player cards will now be ours forever, which is good.
Some things could be a little better, though. When playing PVP against stronger players or harder difficulties against the AI, it seems the AI that controls your players fumbles a lot. Tactics don't work well, marking turns ineffective, the goalkeeper won't catch most shots etc. And regarding the game's menus, I think they could implement some shortcuts for the main menu. You have to keep going back page by page, which is tiresome.
I think player movement and the overall engine is much more convincing as a football game than FIFA, especially when it comes to seeing some players' characteristic way of conducting themselves on the pitch (like Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo). However, graphics-wise it's a lot worse than the competition. If they find a way to produce better graphics while keeping gameplay as it is, it would be almost perfect.
