This is a super impressive game. Gameplay is great, voice acting too. It feels really immersive and some of the scenes will probably stick to me for the years to come. I liked the story and the overall ambiance.
However most of the guns are really not effective (even if they feel great) and I ended up using almost only the AR. And be aware that there is some long dialog scenes which feels a little weird in VR.
Other that that I liked all the aspects, definitely a must buy for all psvr owners.

I revisited the game this year because I wanted to see how it looked with a PS5 (it does look better!). I liked it a lot better the first time. Let me begin by saying that the actual gunplay is pretty fun, especially if you stick to just one-handed guns, although I never found two handed ones to be all that bad either.
It's just a shame that there are so many unskippable cutscenes where you do absolutely nothing, except for waving at characters in frustration:
I also hated the museum mission this time around. Back in the beginning of VR I suppose that it was much more impressive, but for someone with a very limited time for games, replaying all those cutscenes and doing that mission all over again was gruesome. I just wanted to get to the shooting part already.

I also realized that there aren't really all that many missions if you take out all the filler stuff. This game is definitely worth it, bearing in mind the somewhat limited library of VR games, and the story has the quality of not really taking itself seriously, although I really wish it'd cut to chase faster.

I am giving the game 3 stars instead of 4 to take petty revenge on it. There's this game breaking bug at the end that I experienced which wouldn't allow me to continue and would make restart at the very last checkpoint (the closer, closer, closer scene). After reading a bit, you have to switch to a controller, pass the scene, then switch back to the moves, which is very immersion breaking, at the very least.
For the action movie leaning folks, I would say this is a must own title. It has higher production values than most any other game your can play on your PS VR and while it effectively boils down to an on rails shooter with some puzzle sections, the gameplay is fun and the high quality visuals and animations help keep you engrossed the whole way. While this isn't pure fun the same way 'Astro-Bot: Rescue Mission' is I'm certain you'll get your money's worth if you take the time between set piece shoot outs to look for collectibles and just appreciate the world they created around you.
Gameplay= Mechanics, gameplay options (freedom), repetition, goals, difficulty
Story= plot, engagement, characters, world-building
Presentation= graphics, animation, environment/character design, Art direction, Script, music
Gameplay: 4/5 Aside from a struggle with aiming some of the bigger guns the gameplay was great. Not surte if the problem was more so the actual VR tech, my VR tech, or the way the game was made.
Story: 3.5/5
Presentation: 4/5
