While Duck Game contains a decent amount of randomness and variance due either to ? blocks or the random assortment the maps go through, each and every single fight is a competitive venture that relies primarily on skill. Every weapon has an almost ridiculous amount of depth to it, almost every single one having their own unique mechanic to utilize, or relying on the shared mechanic that is diagonal shots which is done right incredible brilliance using timing skill. From chainsaw wall jumping and gliding, to revolver recoil shots, ragdoll grabs, reload cancels, shot climbing, etc., Duck Game offers so many fun ways to settle encounters. Watching any high level competitive match will show you how strained the mechanics come, ending in incredible trick shots and level awareness.

Really I just wish more people were continuously playing it, absolute fucking banger. (9.5/10)

A fast-paced and extremely fun game to play with friends. It's basically just about ducks killing each other with a variety of cool and creative weapons. And there's a freaking "quack" button. What more could you want?

Just a really fun multiplayer shooter. The first online game I played involved myself and another guy getting into an impromptu jam session when he started playing drums and I picked up a sax. Then he killed me eventually, because he was so much better, but we had a moment. Also, due to the dedicated quack button, when we were tallying up the scores at the end and we got to the guy who won, everybody quacked in respect. There was a lot of community between us.

Now mind you, very few of the other games I played after that went down that road, but I will always have fond memories of me losing my Duck Game virginity.

It's a blast because there are so many guys (some are useless but hilarious), each round is chaotic, you can wear many different hats, and there's some strategy involved here. There's also a level editor and single-player challenge mode, so there's plenty of value here.
