it feels a bit like it definitely belongs in that same niche genre as yume nikki, but there's something about this one that doesn't captivate me nearly as much. im hoping throughout my playthrough (that is happening slowly but surely) that something will just click and I'll feel the game's charm. but as it has been for the first 2 hours im honestly left with lukewarm feelings that make me just want to move on to something else

FYI, this is only 99 cents right now on Switch (at least in North America). I hadn’t planned on playing this before its sequel, but at that price why not?
