Context: I love Stalker, Dying Light and Fallout.
Intro
This is an open world survival crafting game aka the Steam Greenlight slop genre. Except it has a bit more going on. There are okay story elements, anomalies and optional co-op. But it's all indie-game level so people's mouths don't even move when they talk.
Review
In the prologue you encounter "Subject 47", find a red crowbar and throw a rock at an anomaly all within half a minute. After i was done rolling my eyes i persevered and had my first taste of melee combat. And it is awful. A single, really bad striking animation. It feels totally weightless. And there's no depth to it, just smacking and blocking. This was strike 1.
I started the solo campaign and played it for about an hour. At some point i opened my inventory and sighed. It has colour-coded weapons with durability. You have to break down each item manually (for currency). And the weight filter works per stack, not per individual item. Oof. Strike 2.

Still, i went on. More weak story elements. More bad combat. More constant breaking down items manually because of the weight limit. More insane amount of injuries you can't heal. More dull cooking. More boring "+ health/stamina/money" skills. I got to the safe area and got my player house. And i saw it. Three crafting stations that they clearly want you to build up. And the healing item i needed 3 of cost twice as much as all the money i had made so far. Strike 3. And you're out.
It's just not worth your time.
