The Boba Tea Shop was a surprisingly fun experience. Interacting with the customers is what makes the game shine—some of their chatter adds personality and keeps things interesting. Gameplay revolves around making different drinks like boba tea, coffee, and other orders, and the simplicity actually works in its favor.
Jumpscares are subjective, but in my experience, there really weren’t any. Even so, the game manages to maintain a creepy tone through atmosphere alone. If you enjoy indie horror that focuses more on mood and interaction rather than loud, in-your-face scares, this is definitely one I’d recommend.
Depending on how smoothly you handle the drink-making and tasks, I’d estimate total gameplay at around 60–90 minutes. There’s also some replay value if you want to go back and collect any achievements you missed.
