You guys, this game is freaking amazing and I stayed up until 4 am playing it. I'm not even done yet and omg.
I mostly liked the game and it looked good, but I had troube with the wing jumping... too left, too high... there were some jumps I had to try a lot. Totally ruined my mood.
Okay it's a extremely beautiful game. strongly felt like I was watching a studio Ghibli take. I actually like the puzzles. They were though out. a little patients was needed for the controller but. it got a lot more easier to navigate. The game itself. Eh the story miss so many marks. It was not a strong story at all. which is really sad because the game looked legit story base so why not make sure you have a strong story. I really didn't feel anything for Annie girl. I didn't feel that much for the forgotlings. I know my heart can be as cold as a step mother's kiss.
But it just wasn't enough story. Like where did the caretaker come from? how did Boku get there and steal some magic rocks from a maybe witch?????? I mean why is there a man screaming in the background acting like a daddy maybe douchbag while her mother is leaving her like I mean the game really starts off with just a lot of wondering and no closingy which is a shame. a really pretty game on my new Samsung and there's 8 hours of my life that's going to be …

But it's something I will never replay again.
Great atmosphere and visuals. Also this game just kicking me right in the feels and that ending....
This is a delightful game. It feels very "Studio Ghibli". It hovers in-between a click to advance type story and a simple platformer with a few simple puzzle solving hurdles here and there. I think the story is a bit non-sensical but you do get a degree of emotional involvement with the characters, particularly Anne the main character, and the animation is just beautiful. It makes a pleasant change and a nice break from more demanding and intense gaming experiences.
I played the demo for this and really enjoyed it. However I already had a large enough backlog and didn't want to add more to it so I decided to watch a playthrough of it. It was a great watch, especially while working since it's almost fully voice acted and there are times where it's a little slow but has great music.
Anybody have any recommendations for games to watch like this? I don't have the time/patience to play a lot of story games but am interested in watching them so I can at least experience them somewhat. I'm thinking of looking into the Kingdom Heart series next.
Been playing this game. Adventure game with a great looking art style and a neat story about living objects (think brave little toaster) living in a scifi city.
The world is great and neat to learn about but the adventure elements so far have been bad. All puzzles seem to just be same lame stuff about turning on/off generators and flipping switches, and the dialogue parts never give you more than 2 options. It also has that lame Mass Effect style role-playing where the dialogue options you select from don't actually represent what the character says so you can never develop a persona.
