I feel very bad for not liking this game. The trailer made it seem and it was on sale on GOG.
Lots of beautiful sprites and backgrounds with some high-quality voice acting. But the basic setup, the villain, the hero quips, are all just not doing it for me. On top of the that the gameplay is just too slow …
I feel very bad for not liking this game. The trailer made it seem and it was on sale on GOG.
Lots of beautiful sprites and backgrounds with some high-quality voice acting. But the basic setup, the villain, the hero quips, are all just not doing it for me. On top of the that the gameplay is just too slow to evolve. I realize it is supposed to be a Metroidvania with numerous unlocks but the movement is fairly pedestrian and the gunplay is just not satisfying. I was hoping it would fairly quickly unlock at least one other character but no such luck.
Oh well, glad I tried it.
