Good story but choices don't matter much. It's very dark and seems hopeless if you don't stick with it. The gameplay is tedious like having to sleep in the tent every few sections. I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm a bit too exhausted to write a proper review right now, but I just want to say that Grotto is the reason I play indie games. Cool premise, unique world, very thoughtful story and gameplay, great characters, made me feel things (both good and bad things!), surprised me, neat art design, etc. All of the things I want from a narrative game. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes the genre and is up for the vague choices entailed by being a soothsayer.
