Disappointing
I loved the previous game, Exit 8. An incredibly simple gameplay loop but that provided a ton of fun through its variety of anomalies that almost never repeated. The rules of the game were spelled out up front through in game signage and yet the puzzle of figuring out what was different was often hard but rewarding.
This new game is just confounding and does not properly give you enough direction. The only signage says “check electronic signs” and doesn’t give any indication of what you are supposed to do. It took me forever to figure out you can open the subway door to pass between cars. The corresponding door at the other end never opens and thus I didn’t think to hit A again at the opposite door. Okay, so now I know the basic mechanic. I figured out you can either go forward or sit and wait in the NEXT car. It does nothing to wait in the starting car. Ugh.
However, I managed to trigger something and then was stuck

I appreciate the design idea of trying to do something different than the last game but this is just confusing and does not provide enough of a basic guide to get you going. I can’t tell if I just hit a bug or not since it has almost no feedback.
