Eversion is simply a 2d platformer where you move from left to right, collect items, defeats enemies, and utilize the "eversion" mechanic to travel between different versions of levels. On the surface, this seems rather simplistic, and it is, but the eversion mechanic is surprisingly in-depth, with each object having different properties in each version of a level. These differing properties allow for a variety of intricate puzzles. The game also excels at teaching its mechanics through shear level design as opposed to a text-based tutorial, something that I'm always happy to see. Through in a great soundtrack and some - er - shocking visuals, and you've got yourself a fun little platformer that I'd definitely recommend.
