Loser's review of TimeShift

There was so much potential in this game, it honestly could have been fantastic. But, it ended up just being ok. The time powers are honestly fantastic and rival F.E.A.R's, the atmosphere and visuals can be great at times but sometimes look completely bland, the story is non existent, the writing has 0 style, level design is simplistic, A.I can often make dumb decisions, and the game could use a little more downtime between firefights, the beginning of the game is so loud and hectic, though the game does slow down the pace as time goes on. So yeah, fantastic gameplay and sometimes good visuals are the only things that hold up an ok to bad game. I think a remaster/remake or sequel could be fantastic if put in the right hands, unfortunately that will never happen because this game has no real fan-base.
