Finished this, and ultimately I think the game gets in its own way by keeping play centered around a constant stream of inventory puzzles. I guess The Walking Dead and Life is Strange made clear for me that it's the exploration and social aspects of the adventure game that I find interesting, and not the puzzle aspect.

Having a grand time with Technobabylon so far! A crunchy mystery, some pretty unique puzzles incorporating AIs and the internet, and one of the better trans characters I've yet seen in a videogame.

I'm a huge fan of Wadjet Eye, but this is my least favourite of their games. While the story and characters were top notch, as usual, the gameplay and puzzles were not comparable. There was a bit too much pixel-hunting, puzzle solutions were too random and obtuse.

Just started playing today. Having a blast! The characters you come across are amazing! The art is pretty good as well. A bit slow for my liking though.

This comes from someone who isn't really into the point and click genre.

Excellent - would give it 2nd place after Primordia. Both of them are highly above the rest. Especially the average and frustrating Gemini Rue.

Great job on Technobabylon - comes right after I finished reading Neuromancer...
