Channeling elements of Monty Python and the funnier episodes of the X-Files, Maize is an absurdist, first-person adventure with a cornucopia of highbrow puzzles to solve, talking oddities to meet, and mysteries to be harvested.

A unique FPS adventure game with quite of an interesting humor.

The game is fun and visually pleasing. I'm not sure who you play as but your task is to investigate and explore the work of two mad scientists in their secret facilities that for some reason decided to create a sentient corn.

On your adventure you don't get to meet the two crazy inventors but you'll learn about them through post-it notes with some really hilarious note exchanges. You will however meet a bunch of live corn and a particularity grumpy Russian teddy bear who enjoys mocking and offending you in a pretty funny way.

The game is not too hard and tasks usually boil down picking up stuff and then placing it in the correct place (which once you have the item are highlighted). So what makes the game enjoyable is the humor and interesting locations to explore.

Overall enjoyed it quite a bit so can surely recommend for a causal game play to adventure liking people.

This thing is on the top of the popular games list right now (I assume because of the Humble Bundle). I just want to point out that Jess talked about this on the Grouvcast forever ago. She's a trendsetter is what I'm trying to say :)
