This was a nice and relaxing slice of life game. I think the mini games used really represented the actions the characters were taking. I loved the idea of putting puzzle pieces together in order to form a response in a conversation since that is often how trying to speak with someone feels - trying to find the right piece …

I loved the idea of putting puzzle pieces together in order to form a response in a conversation since that is often how trying to speak with someone feels - trying to find the right piece to add to the picture. While this was short, it was packed with story and it really delivered a relatable and touching narrative with the message of finding who you want to be.

Cute game about the comings and goings of a relationship. The gameplay mechanics matching the current mood of the story works very well and is the strongest point of Florence. However, it seems to rush very quickly through and while it is a short story that also means it can't go into as much depth into it's subject matter. A …

Exactly what I expected and wanted out the game: A touching story supported by light but cleverly (and impactfully) implemented mechanics. It's a short, memorable experience.

Esto no es exactamente un juego, tampoco es una novela visual, pero es una experiencia audiovisual muy bonita y con muy buen gusto, además de un estilo artístico precioso.

Really cute and mature story. I loved how the (admittedly minimal) gameplay interactions underscores the tone of each scene. In particular, the "dialogue mechanic" is such a visceral but minimalistic representation of speech.

My injured finger healed, but I got a nasty gash on my thumb yesterday. Oh well, I'm back playing games, so hooray!

This hit me a lot harder than I was expecting it to. How the jigsaw mechanic used in conversations developed throughout the game was really clever. Also, I got very emotional seeing this take place in locations where I had spent a lot of time with my own partner when we were dating.
Short, sweet and thoughtful. Florence is a very good game.

Florence is a short storybook game that tells a relatable story about the beginning & end of a relationship. The story is told in a cool way and the game uses lots of subtle interaction and visuals to convey emotion of the characters in each scene. Only wish it was longer. I really hope to see many more interesting stories told in this creative fashion.

Capturing a budding relationship with stark visuals and orchestral music, Florence looks and sounds even more impressive when that relationship falls apart.

Okay, Florence is amazing and in a way that is so unique to games. The conversation mechanic with the puzzles pieces getting easier over time, amazing. The wiping away colors over dreams and then following with the same mechanic over a mirror, beautiful.
