Look: 7/10 Functional enough, and I technically did enjoy them.
Play: 7/10 Also, technically enjoyed them. But too clunky, too fundamental, to push past a 7. And uff, that shift aspect would have been nice to know ha.
Feel: 7/10 It should be a perfect RPG to me: simple, straightforward, single-player, set-goal, and dungeon crawler style. But it lacks that extra umph. I just would fill up as much as I could before dying and settled with that. Turns out collecting all the Gold will give you a true win, but didn't feel compelled to do so. But yeah, I loved filling in the map each playthrough.
Attachment: 8/10 If I ever wanna give console and early microcomputer RPGs another try, this one would likely make the list. Since it's one of the best examples, but with mainframe/PLATO RPGs available... After more thought, I will certainly replay this to give it an earnest try when I'm not feeling like I need to move on. Regardless, this one definitely deserves a replay.
