Remake of Outcast

This may have been a good game in 1999, but I do not have the patience for this. There are no quest markers which can be a problem when you're supposed to find someone but have been given no clues as to where they are. But my main gripe is the combat. Aiming is garbage, ammo is not especially plentiful, and the enemies are bullet sponges while also constantly running around making it hard to hit them even with the horrible auto-aim. Maybe I'm missing something or just bad, but I don't care. The rest isn't enough to make me push through.
Great little game, even without a very unique story they managed to create an atmosphere you want to feel and although the talan are not deep characters, the dialogues still evoke something that makes you care about these fellows. It's unfortunate that this remaster is buggy and has camera problems (although only in a few areas), not to mention the fact that getting near any talan slows you down automatically, the smallest increase in altitude slows you down (and they decided to make the main city uneven), so it's impossible to be fast in Okriana. Also, endgamw in Okaar sucks. And then the gorgor fight...it charges faster than you, it isn't stunned/hindered by any weapons and it kills in a single hit. The way to winning is waiting for the time when the AI is dumb enough to stand around for some reason long enough for you to shoot the gas at it and then a granade.
