Could Be Better
It's better than the 3DS's Notes. The only problem I have with the application is it's designed for right-handed people.
Those who are left-handed can still use it, but sideways, like this:

However, I wasn't actually able to screenshot the exact problem, so I'll have to describe it the best I can: The menu, for one. If I use it in the opposite direction, half of the page gets cut off because I'm not able to use the area where the menu is. But if I use it as if I'm right-handed, I could use that space because the menu goes away if I do it like that. Second of all, if I use it as if I'm right-handed, I might accidentally knock off the hinges of my console because the hinges are in the way of me writing/drawing.
It's ridiculous. I've played multiple games that allow both right-handed people and left-handed people (Personal Trainer: Math, CrossworDS, The World Ends with You etc), and considering this is an update version to the original, there is no excuse to exclude left-handed people.
I mainly use it to jot down my thoughts of a game, or to help me think of new ways to find solutions to things, especially if it's a game that doesn't have a memo function.
I do like how you can screenshot your progress, so I didn't have to use my phone's camera to show you what I mean. I think that tiny little thing (designed for right-handed people) is worth taking off a star. I'd rate it like this even if I was right-handed.
