Atmospheric seaside HOPA horror

This was a great little horror point and click game. You play a twin girl looking for her brother in a cursed dreary seaside town. The artwork is murky gray, painted, somewhat primitive but extremely charming. The sound design is really good and makes you totally submersed in the environment.

The gameplay is great too. Pretty much the entire map is open to explore, so if you’re like me and enjoy backtracking and trying to remember where to use what item- it’s a treat. There’s mini games of course but they’re all pretty fun.

Overall it’s one of the better HOPA point and clicks I’ve played, mostly for the atmosphere but the gameplay supports it well. It’s up there with Fright, True Fear part 1, Final Cut Death on the Silver Screen, and Stray Souls: Stolen Memories. It’s technically the 2nd game in the 3 entry series so let’s see how the others stack up.
