This is a total gem by another studio that seemingly disappeared after dropping a couple unique and memorable games - Ghost Ship Games. It is a puzzle-heavy point and click with an awesome rustic gothic art style and a really cool story.

You play as an ancestor visiting an asylum to learn more about your birth parents. You learn that there is an ancient witch buried beneath, and you feel called to go underground and free her.

The gameplay is a mixture of inventory puzzles, riddles, and mini games. It’s a bit more challenging than most games in the genre, but totally doable.

I really enjoyed it, everything about this game is very memorable. They certainly don’t make games like this anymore! Hopefully the sequel The Turning Thorn lives up to its predecessor.
