Let's just get this out of the way: yes, it's by the same guy who made Flappy Bird and FB was not a good game in a lot of ways.

Ninja Spinki Challenges!! is better. It offers a variety of different takes on simple controls, where you either jump over enemies or dodge them. You can compete in the challenge mode which gets progressively harder or the endless mode, which does the same, if you just want to see how far you can get. In this way, it's something to play when you're out, even if there isn't much meat here. But hey, mobile games get away with this in a way consoles and computers don't because of the very nature of casualness that phone gaming encourages. It also has a pretty fun tune that plays.

It isn't really for me because I don't get the same satisfaction that some do with this. I much prefer something like Mario Run or Leap Day, which offers a new level every day, or something more substantial occasionally. I also find that the touch screen controls aren't nearly as fluent and solid as they should be, considering I often flung myself …
