TI-99 Has Surprisingly Fun Games, But Nothing Striking Here

Look: 6/10 Functional, kinda nice colors. I am a sucker for desert themed games' look, but meh.

Play: 6/10 Kinda cool that you destroy the cacti when you kill the alien near them, which after all is the goal to have the cacti stop spawning them. Pretty straightforward game that you can just jump into, but if you really wanna play it proper, you need to know that part of how the cacti are destroyed. That aspect of it, though, is what makes the game get kind of repetitive or chore-y feeling. Having to lure the aliens near the cacti. Not that it's hard per se, just a little frustrating and repetitive. Maybe tacky would be the word. Dunno, but it wasn't fun for very long heh.

Feel: 6/10 Cool concept, tho it doesn't really make much sense lol. I guess you're not gaining points, you're gaining population in a town. I guess murdering fauna and destroying flora gets you places. Well, I mean... Anyway, just isn't that fun. Worth a quick play, if curious, but otherwise..

Attachment: 5/10 Likable enough, and the TI-99 continues to have nice controls and functioning, but decidedly skippable.
