Coins make you explode? Spikes make you bounce! All of this is normal in the world of Default Dan, a new indie platformer that flips the genre upside-down by making every object in the game do the opposite of what it appears. By using the player’s own instincts against them, Default Dan aims to provide a humorous, mind-bending experience that gamers of all ages can enjoy.

Default Dan looks like the low-effort platforming trash that lazy developers slap together to sell cards and give away meaningless achievements, but it's actually quite good. It starts out with Koopa being kidnapped (Koopnapped?) by the Princess. To save the dinosaur-in-distress you have to dodge coins, flowers, mushrooms, hearts and friendly looking creatures while being supported by spikes, pits and evil toadstools. It's Mario, except reversed. This is fairly amusing, but it quickly gets pretty hard and somewhat frustrating (which is partially by design).

If you like hard platformers, you will probably like this. Until you die to a bloody coin for the nth time. :P
