For a survival horror series that's been around even longer than Resident Evil or Silent Hill, Clock Tower has been lost in the dust of the success of the aforementioned titles.
Though this release isn't comparable graphically to the likes of Resident Evil or Silent Hill, it still packs its own punch of terror.
With its point and click nature and terrifying antagonist, this game manages to scare you in ways you wouldn't expect. Dialing up tension while you search for clues and evade your enemy.
With its multiple endings and unique playstyle, Clock Tower remains one of the godfathers of modern day survival horror and its roots still show to this very day.
This game is bad. I couldn't get over the dated graphics. But more than that, the story was complete nonsense. In the Barrows Castle everyone is lying down on the floor, but none of them are injured. They just couldn't find a way of not letting them accompany you. Besides, I don't understand how people make fun of the early Silent Hill games' dialogues when this game exists. The story is bad, the script and acting is bad, the graphics and animations are rough (old game, I know). It just wasn't an enjoyable experience. The original Nintendo game was so much better, more mysterious and creepier. This is just cheesy and crappy
I finished Jennifer's story of this earlier today. I did enjoy the game but at times it just feels a pain to go through. Mostly on the last level where everything is well hidden, I stumbled onto the item needed to get the best ending yet needed a walkthrough to get to the last part.
Its a shame this game is so expensive nowadays, it certainly deserves a look at but the price is way too high right now for it especially since its a short game.
