Sound: 6/10 Annoying, tho the "beginning song" during the instructions was fun heh.
Play: 6/10 Really goofy parser, input has to be lower case and also only accepts "d" for instance not "down".
Feel: 7/10
I didn't really include a Look section, but I did like how items on the ground had sorta sprites.
And the trees for settings, etc. Considering the severe limitations of a 16k Spectrum, this one did pretty darn good for a text adventure... Still, with the Apple II games I had played even 2 years before this one, and some of the more innovative ones on other systems too, it just seems silly to play a 16k Spectrum game in general heh. There was a purpose when costs matter, but now with access to all these platforms, sorta silly to play such a basic game.
Attachment: 7/10 As basic as it is, I can't deny I'm a sucker for short, sweet games. This got to the point and finished. Decidedly not the best text adventure, but a short sweet one that had some cute images and innovations for being a 16k Spectrum game. I could even potentially see myself showing my brother this, since it's short enough to sum up text adventures well. With some challenge still there.
