Port of Pink Panther: Pinkadelic Pursuit

I was very hesitant in giving this 4 stars because in my opinion, it didn't do much and played it way too safe, but still came out as a decent quality 2D platformer that borrows some elements from 3D platformers of the time.

It's a simple game: collect coins to unlock paintings, collect keys to unlock other levels, some levels are like those old Donkey Kong mine cart levels and are heavily inspired by those games, and the rest are normal platformers with a twist like any other 2D platformer from it's time.
In order to get the key in each level, you don't progress by going forward, backward, up, or down. you progress by giving the right person/animal/thing what they want. A guard will let you pass if specific section if you gave them a chicken. a wall will block your path, so you need to bomb it in order to get something that will help you progress. there are many back and forth in this game that will keep you busy for about a 10-12 minutes or so, and also, this game has only 12 levels, and about half of them are using the gameplay method explained above. …

The graphics are nice, the music is Jazz, and its an all rounder decent game. it is not trying to do much, so don't expect much. you will probably finish this game in an hour long session, but it is not terrible, and will definitely get you engaged.
PS1 version, played on DuckStation.
