Simple, Yet Surprisingly Fun And Classic-Feeling Text Adventure

Look: 7/10 Gotta love this classic Apple II graphic text adventure look. I'm always a sucker for the Apple II colors and style of graphics, hard to explain unless you play em! I mean, even a screen as mundane as this (and cuz I didn't feel like screenshotting a bunch, so I just picked one random screen heh) enter image description here

Play: 8/10 Wow, such great features for the gameplay in this. The ring that lets you teleport to spots you've been especially! And the Amulet that protects you from the pesky ghost. Plus, gotta love that common yet wonderful Apple II graphic text adventure feature where you simply press Enter to turn on/off graphics if you've already seen the screen or in a rush, etc. (Or, heck, just to doublecheck what you had last typed ha). Ugh, I was loving the game, then they had to go and add RNG-based petty death with the crossing the log part. I mean, save function, I know I know, but meh.

Feel: 7/10 Technically frustrating to return to the old-style parser after a taste of some more advanced parsers, but the Look and straightforward forgiving yet engaging gameplay all made up for it to the point that I barely noticed :-p Except when figuring out mechanics/parser for simple tasks like tying rope, etc., not that I ain't used to it from early text adventures heh..

Attachment: 7/10 Tho I really liked this, how often I will be returning to it is questionable! Worth a playthrough tho!

Completion: 100% Playtime: ~30 mins
