Many Feels In This Standout Text Adventure

Look: 8/10 The Spectrum definitely has a unique feel to its graphics enter image description here

Feeling like 3d design at this screen enter image description here

And another great screen [I can't deny I'm excited to play the Zelda underwater parts, which I traditionally don't really like, but I dunno.. this chronology has taught me to appreciate games in a different way.] enter image description here I love this room, but …

And another great screen [I can't deny I'm excited to play the Zelda underwater parts, which I traditionally don't really like, but I dunno.. this chronology has taught me to appreciate games in a different way.] enter image description here I love this room, but particularly the "diamond-al" way the colors were drawn enter image description here

Tho none of them were truly moving, I just liked the absurdity of them all enter image description here

Kinda silly the screens don't change with changes in the adventure, like once you open the sarcophagus you'd think the image would change with all that happens :-X

Play: 8/10 I like that you win the flashlight :-p (a fundamental item in text adventures). I love it when they allow optional graphics easily, for once you've seen the screens a couple times heh. Some really petty parts in the puzzles, but overall, just a quality text adventure game. Stands out amid the sea.

Feel: 9/10 Oooo, Aladdin's Cave. Giving me Kingdom Hearts feel. I like how you essentially "equip" for the journey, then jump in! Ohhh, it's actually more back and forth into the building. Somehow gave me Resident Evil feel with that? Hard to explain. Omg and the Crowbar feel, I knew there was a reason :-p And it even gave me Zelda vibes with the transferring back and forth between locations (like times/worlds/universes/etc too). I love a lot of the settings and items, like the Talisman, but if I were truly just playing it blind, I'd probly dislike it tbh. Oh wow lol and even killing a Zombie, ok I see you. And as tacky as the ending is (I'll let you see for yourself :-p), I like that you "wear a mask" to end the game. Quite fitting tbh. And honestly, the more I think about it, the more memorable and stand-out this game was.

Attachment: 7/10 Definitely one I wont forget, but not sure how often I would play it. As much as I enjoyed the look and this first playthrough, I don't see it being a go-to for text adventures or weird games alike.

Completion: 100% Playtime: 45 mins
