While it is one of the more controversial and less liked entry in the series, it is overall my personal favorite. I remember playing and replaying 1 and 2 many times back in 2017 and again in 2022 as 3 was releasing, but the overall smoothness of this games movement is just amazing to me. While it certainly lacks some of the childlike charm the first 2 had, it makes up for it with pure gameplay. I can agree though that it isn't for everyone and if you were looking for a game like 1 and 2 you won't get that with 3, instead you get an insanely precise turbo speed hack and slash platformer that is easy to learn and monstrous to master.
