Incredible, Castlevania-Vibes Arcade Shooter Action Game. Play This!

Look: 9/10 Gotta love the setting. Of course the castle gives me Castlevania vibes, and even the enemies are very unique for its time. I love the look of everything: the details of the background. God I love the changing backgrounds/colors; this could even be a 10. One of the first games in the chronology project where I truly got lost in the background.

Sound: 7/10 Nothing special, functional. Not included in the score.

Play: 9/10 The bullets are so slow, but once you are used to it, the game gets really fun. Another game that reminds me how bad I am at gaming heh: thank goodness for the Shield function being quickly refilled. I wish you could shoot down enemy bullets.

Feel: 9/10 This has so many similarities to Castlevania, like the fire-blasting skull super-enemy heh. The graphics, the fun gameplay, and the well-executed concept all render this a great, underrated game! Dank that this is a real arcade game ha, I always feel like Robby Roto and this are some secrets/absurdities only revealed in the future, but turns out these were [allegedly] known and, well, real ha. Awesome.

Attachment: 9/10 I'm already eager to play it again tonight …

Attachment: 9/10 I'm already eager to play it again tonight to see if I can get further! (Welp, indeed, I did play it again later, and then showed it to my younger brother when he visited ha, so yep definitely deserves the 9). Debating whether this should be a Favorite Favorite like Roto... hmmmm. Did I have that much fun playing it? Welp, I guess that means it's time to replay it again today :)
