Beat on normal as the gold one. I use the laser for most of the game and towards the end I used the cannon. The third weapon which was some kind of charge up thing I could not get to work. This game was both more intense and less challenging than the first game, but overall a bit more fun and higher quality. The power up system was not quite as good as the first game due to the lack of a shield and weapons not having finite ammo; I liked having to pick shots in the first game instead of just holding down the shoot button all the time.
