This last offering certainly feels like a bonus. While each scenario is decidedly inconsequential (though Hinamizawa Bus Stop is the stand-out), the biggest treat was reading the bonus staff rooms where you get a window into the absolute mania of a small team working their pants off to get games out before deadline. It's ridiculously relatable and funny and even inspiring.

While four stars is my rating for Hou+, this rating goes for my thoughts on the series overall. Stellar debut from a small circle that seems to have only gone up from here. If Minagoroshi in particular had come out in 2025 instead of twenty years ago it would be my game of the year, full stop. What a banger.
