A Perfect VR Game That All Should Experience
This review is for the PlayStation 4 version

4.5/5 Astro Bot Rescue Mission is almost a perfect introduction into VR as you can get. I say almost as perfect as the way the camera moves did give me motion sickness early on as one of the first few VR games that I played. It was bad enough that I stopped playing the game for a couple years. It was only when thinking of selling my PSVR that I decided to give it another try and thankfully I did. I have a Quest 2 that I had been playing in short bursts building up my VR legs. Coming back to Astro Bot then was a much more enjoyable experience. This is basically a Super Mario style platformer in 3D. It isn't very challenging, and can be completed in a relatively short amount of time, but it's an absolutely enjoyable experience the entire time you are playing it. There is a pretty decent variety in levels, both in environments and some tools that you get that will mix up how the levels play out. If you have a PSVR, you absolutely need to play this game. I really hope it gets ported to PSVR2 or other platforms so as many …

What a delight!
This review is for the PlayStation 4 version

In 2018, it felt right to take the plunge and get a VR headset. I saw the PSVR bundle that included Moss and this game for $250 and that felt like a steal to get my first real taste at first generation VR. I was not disappointed and I owe that in large part to this game.

In my mind this is the must own game for PSVR. This is the closest a Playstation property has come to feeling like a Nintendo game. Astro Bot and Mario Mario could be cousins!

For me the highlights was how the game really utilizes VR to take a platformer to the next level. Unlike traditional games spatial awareness is vital, and you'll often be twisting and turning in your seat to guide Astro Bot around you in the 3D world. All of the set pieces encountered were expertly designed and fine crafted to really take advantage of then thrills unique to VR--enemies come rushing at you or grow to a frightening scale or take you to a dizzying height where for a few seconds your lizard brain is tricked into believing that's actually occuring.

I can't speak more highly of this game. If …

ASTRO BOT Rescue Mission (PSVR)
This review is for the PlayStation 4 version

Un muy divertido juego que marca lo que debe ser un juego de plataformas en VR. Destaca por su sencillez, su buen diseño de niveles aprovechando totalmente las capacidades de las VR, y su tono desenfadado y animado.

Incredible game, and a no-brainer for PSVR owners. But the more I played, the more I got frustrated and eventually quit during the 4th world. Falling to your death all the time, and the fact that one hit kills you started to get on my nerves. Maybe I can revisit it in the future since it's an amazing experience, despite the annoying details.

This was as good as I expected.

Undoubtedly, one of the best of its genre.

Loved this game so much that I got the platinum trophy for it just because I wanted to do every single thing the game had to offer. A total delight start to finish, and easily my GOTY at the moment.

Fell off my couch while trying to headbutt a soccer ball. This is a good video game.

Oh man, oh man, oh man. Got my PSVR and started this last night, and wow, this is a blast so far. It's a great reinvention of the platforming genre that utilizes 3D space so well. Actually being able to physically look around the stage and discover secrets is so rewarding. This really brings me back to the golden age of cartoony, character driven platforms. I really hope this IP sticks around.

Just ordered the Astro bot/Moss PSVR Black Friday special. Couldn’t turn it down at $199 finally. Really excited to try it out finally.
