Read morePretty fun game. Feels like it's inspired by Shantae. Definitely worth the $2 I paid to get it on sale. I will say the visual conveyance of information is a bit weak. It is hard to tell when your charged attack is ready, it's hard to tell what in the environment is fake or destructible, and it's hard to tell what's in the background and what is interactable. I finished the normal mode and I will be giving the magic mode a try next.
Edit: Forgot to mention some aspects I wasn't expecting. Definitely wouldn't recommend this for kids, it's a bit more violent and suggestive than I thought it would be. The violence is more silly in tone, but I thought it was pretty aggressive when compared to how the intro presented the game to be.
