This "game" came bundled with my infamous $2,500.00 late-night QVC computer purchase.
You select a cat to care for and the hilarity ensues, or not. You not only have to feed the pet, but keep it entertained with a minimal selection of toys and pet it on occasion. The game creators early-on tapped in to that feeling of responsibility, i.e., guilt, gamers can feel for digital creations when your pet is unattended, but they didn't know how to exploit that feeling to make an actual game. Instead, you could just turn off the pet.
A tiny little program that can run in the background, but it quickly loses any appeal due to the A.I.s limitations , low graphics, and lack of animations, and meager toys.
