In The Groove 2 is the second iteration of a dance/rhythm series made by Roxor. It's extremely similar to Konami's Dance Dance Revolution and is the center of a massive gaming community for it's ability to play custom songs.

Honestly an interesting game from another time. Obviously attempting to fill the gap in time where Konami wasn't putting out a lot of DDR content, this game manages to differentiate itself from DDR by including more game modes (Marathon, Battle, Time Attack), and allowing for user generated levels that you can put on the machine via USB. While this game doesn't have as much musical variation as DDR, and some of its modes fall flat for me, its still cool seeing how a different studio did their own take on the arrow-stomping rhythm game. Shame that Konami stomped Roxor in a legal battle and stopped them from making any new games.
