A survival horror video game developed by WARP for the Dreamcast. It was published by WARP in Japan in 1999 and then by Sega in North America in 2000. D2 was written and directed by Kenji Eno, and serves as the third and final entry in the D series after D and Enemy Zero. Like the previous two games, D2 stars the digital actress Laura and serves as an independent story unrelated to either game. D2 is also WARP's final game before changing their name to "Superwarp" and transitioning from video game development to online network services in August, 2001.

thegameistobesold's review of D2
This review is for the Dreamcast version

-Ridiculously long winded monologues and cutscenes

-Irritating and annoying random battles even with infinite ammo

-plot meanders and some characters and stories are not explained

+Haunting winter atmosphere

+Melodic and eerie piano score

+Bizarre and surreal horror moments

+Poetic ending with a somber music track

Only play if you can handle the clunky battles and long cutscenes. For hardcore survival horror fans that like their games bizarre! In serious need of a modern remake it would be incredible!

Shadow the final destroyer

A promising start that quickly loses momentum about the halfway point. It leaves you asking, what? how? why? And leaves you with no answers much like this short review
