This is a free game that I suspect is inspired from a certain scene in Everything Everywhere All at Once (which is a fantastic film that everyone should see). While there are multiple game modes, the game is most known for its Become Rock and Rock Together modes. I believe the other game modes were added post-launch.

VR support was also added later but it was not enjoyable. It does not allow players to access the extra game modes. The VR environments are different from the desktop version but follow the same vibe. The desktop version is the superior version of this game since VR is missing most of the content the desktop version offers. Also the VR menu is much harder to navigate as it is extremely small and the laser pointer for interacting with the menu is nearly invisible.

There is some minor DLC in the form of "rock packs" that give the player more cosmetic options for their rock.

Game Modes

  • Become Rock

This is an idle game mode. The player is able to choose from different types of rocks and change the scenery. There is a timer that shows how long the player has idled.

  • Rock Together

The player can open an online lobby to become rock with friends.

  • Rock Tactics

Plays exactly like the Suika game but instead of fruit, it's rocks.

  • Rock Racing

Pick a rock and roll it down a hill to hit flag poles. Because the rocks are not spherical, players must learn how their rock is going to roll down the hill and adjust accordingly.

  • Rock Love

Probably my least favorite mode. It's a clicker game. You click hundreds and thousands of time. For each milestone hit, a new rock is added alongside yours.

I wouldn't seriously recommend this one but I will as a joke or to be silly. It was fun dorking around in it with my friend the first time we launched it but it's not going to be a game I return to.

Side note: I became a rock for 22 minutes while I wrote this review.
