(This is for the GBC version of the game. I'm sure the PSX one fares much better!)

Unlike beatmania GB, the songs in this game actually sound like....music. Amazing, I know. There's cute animations and lyrics across the bottom and all your favorite anime jams (and by all, I mean like, 9)! I put on that Galaxy Express 999 theme, I mash the buttons, I jam out. Good stuff. Only issue is that it's on the GBC.

Yeah man, what am I gonna do with this? It's extremely hard to go rhythm gamer mode on such clunky buttons, even with the difficulty set to easy. The selection is charming but small (unless there are more secret songs, but I can't find any documentation on this particular entry). It's cute for a while but if you're looking for actually functioning music gaming...You should probably not look at the GBC.
