But, being that the darker and more dismal aspects of this game weighed heavy upon me when i myself were not able to stomach it (I was in a pretty dark place myself), and now the fact i am wanting brighter experiences, this has to be put to the backlog (though it's most likely abandoned for me)

LA It's very good, a great stalker game. Some of it's enhancements feel a bit overdone imo (such as inclusion of vehicles) but its sweet looking, stable and one of the most 'fan' games i've ever seen. (Also there is an easter egg outside the bar is the best ever)

I still think its a great second place stalker. and worthy of playing after CoP if you want more. This is an extra large slurpee of it.

My other criticism is that the nature of combat in the game is really hard (but then again all of them are hard in the same ways) However, being that the world is quite bigger and more travelling is done, it really makes getting combat along the way a huge pain in the butt. (Kind of makes Old Olney feel like a microscopic playground)

Even with cheats, its definitely a lot of trekking with the sidequests.
