I have a strange relation to this game, because it made me realise I'm not really into Rally racing. I'm a guy who grew up on Need for Speed and seems like these two worlds are really far from each other. It's an excellent Rally game nonetheless, but you gotta love this world to fully embrace it. Despite that, I as a kid, enjoyed playing Colin McRea Rally (even though I didn't really understand rally back than), so If you loved those games, this is the real spiritual succesor, that a rally fan can wish of.
The Good:
- Beautiful scenery
- An excellent Rally simulator
- Dynamic weather
- Various cars and sponsors
- Time-reversal function
The Bad:
- Only a couple of game modes
- Online racing was a bit boring for me, impossible to catch up
- Races against AI racers are only on closed tracks
- Drift is annoying
- But it's nothing compared to the madness, called Gymkhana ( I realised I like watching those videos, but not recreating them :)
Playthroughs: I might finish it someday, halfway through yet
Difficulty: Level 4, No assistance
